Connecting to the Internet with Linux and the iCon 515.
With the current Linux distro releases the kernel ships with hso driver that supports the latest Option devices. NetworkManager works well with most of these devices but it has a problem with iCon 505 and icon 515 sold by Orange.
My HSOconnect has been updated to work around this.

Option have made a new version of the HSO driver available. This version of the drivers has additional bug fixes that improve stability when Hot-plugging.

Option has been quietly working away on driver improvements. The latest version for the 2.6 kernel includes many suggestions and improvements from the community.
